Upgraded features to increase rental listing leads for advertising clients

ATLANTA - July 1, 2009 - This month, Rentals.com, a leading online resource for single-family houses for rent, apartments, condo and vacation rental properties, unveiled its redesigned Web site aimed at connecting renters with property owners and managers faster and easier. Key feature improvements include:

Enhanced search box on the home page enables prospective renters to find rental listings faster.
Advanced search refinement tool on the search results page allows users to tailor their search to find their desired property features.
A large property thumbnail image on the search results page showcases the best property photo.
Property spotlights on the search results and metro pages enhance visibility of rental properties, while maximizing leads and providing landlords with the opportunity to have their properties advertised.

Rentals.com also enhanced some of its higher-end listing categories, which will benefit from a new look and feel, easier navigation and a geo-targeted search experience for more quality leads for advertising clients:

Premier listings are now featured at the top of search results and include highlighted ad colors, company branding and Web site links, a QuickView slide show of property photos and three property attributes.
Featured listings now have priority search results placements, company spotlights for move-in specials and larger thumbnail photos on search results. Listings now include up to 10 photos.
Standard listings now include five photos and larger thumbnail photos on search results.

Additionally, the redesign of Rentals.com introduces an Apartments vertical, to accompany the Vacation Rentals section, on the home page. The Apartments vertical provides easy access for users looking for apartment rentals, resulting in more leads for apartment communities and managers. The new URL for the Rentals.com Apartments vertical is http://apartments.rentals.com.
